ROI proudly welcomes Denzil Ross, President of IU Health South Region, as our 2026 Keynote Speaker.
Following the keynote, ROI will also present the 2026 Indiana Uplands Regional Innovation Awards to honor accomplishments in education, workforce, economic development, and quality of place in the Indiana Uplands.
Presenter
Denzil Ross, MBA, FACHE, joined IU Health as president of the South Region in February 2024. In this role, he leads strategic and operational avenues for IU Health Bloomington, IU Health Bedford Hospital, IU Health Morgan, IU Health Paoli Hospital, and over 60 ambulatory clinics and joint ventures encompassing more than 5,000 team members in seven counties.
Before joining IU Health, Ross served as the chief executive officer for Northwest Medical Center Houghton, a 145-bed facility he helped open during the COVID-19 pandemic. His previous leadership roles have included Chief Operating Officer and Lead Administrator for Lovelace Medical Center and Heart Hospital of New Mexico, and Chief Operating Officer and Ethics and Compliance Officer at Metropolitan Methodist in San Antonio, TX.
Ross is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives as well as a member and co-founder of the Kansas City Regional Chapter of the National Association of Health Service Executives.
At Park University, Ross earned his Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in healthcare and health services management. He was Cum Laude when he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with an emphasis in system analysis. He was also an America’s Essential Hospitals Fellow (formerly NAPH).
