Summit District is a 140-acre, mixed-use planned unit development on the southwest side of Bloomington designed to transform an undeveloped tract into a walkable, transit-oriented community. When complete, the district will include four neighborhoods situated around a district hub. with up to 4,250 residential units. A wide variety of housing options will be available, including single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments, with at least 15% of units permanently reserved for affordable and workforce housing. READI funds will be used for costs related to the sanitary sewer, engineering and design, and bidding/construction administration.
