Earn your J-STD-001 soldering certification and unlock opportunities
Are you a high school student—or a parent of one—interested in turning curiosity for tech into a real career path?
The IPC J-STD-001 soldering certification is a globally recognized standard that proves skills in electronics assembly and soldering. Sponsored by Regional Opportunity Initiatives, this hands-on training gives students a head start in high-demand fields like microelectronics, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, and more.
It’s more than a certification—it’s a launchpad to future career opportunities and higher earning potential, even before graduation.
Why Get Certified?
- Learn Real Skills: Get hands-on with tools and techniques used in today’s coolest tech—like building electronics for space, medicine, and defense.
- Stand Out for Jobs: This certification can help you qualify for great part-time or full-time jobs in electronics and tech—even right after high school.
- Boost Your Earning Power: Employers value certified skills—and often pay more for them.
- Build a Future-Proof Career: Tech changes fast, but this skill set is always in demand.
