The City of Bloomington will replace 1,570 feet of clay sewer pipe, improving flow from the Catalent facility located at 1300 South Patterson and continuing one mile downstream along an arterial corridor. Replacement of the sewer transmission and distribution lines will allow Catalent to expand its biologics drug substance and drug product manufacturing capabilities in alignment with the company’s April 2022 announcement: Catalent to Invest $350 Million in Integrated Biologics Drug Substance and Drug Product Manufacturing at Bloomington, Indiana, Facility.
