Session Description
In this session, the Institute for Workforce Excellence will show how its new navigation tool documents the breadth of resources for talent development, attraction, and retention across Indiana. This tool is designed to connect individuals and organizations to the providers and resources that can help in the talent space. You will also learn about future enhancements to the Talent Resource Navigator platform, including promising practices, self-directed assessments, and wrap-around services.

Session Presenters
Dr. Todd Hurst is the executive director for the Institute for Workforce Excellence, an affiliate program of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
Hurst holds a Ph.D. in educational studies from the University of Kentucky, as well as a Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction from the University of Indianapolis and an undergraduate degree from Ball State University. Most recently, he served as a senior consultant for the Indianapolis-based consulting firm, Resultant, where he led workforce strategy development and program oversight for the organization’s public sector clients.
Hurst will provides management and operational leadership for each of the institute’s supported programs and initiatives, including Work and Learn Indiana (formerly Indiana INTERNet) and the Talent Resource Navigator.
