9:30 to 11:00: ROI’s Annual Report to the Region
This year’s report to the region will focus on learnings from the recently completed Occupational Needs Assessment and ROI’s response to the key takeaways. ROI will announce new initiatives that will launch immediately or in the coming quarter to address education, workforce, and quality of life in Southwest Central Indiana.
11:30 to 1:00: Working Group Sessions
These sessions are open to regional stakeholders interested in engaging with the ROI team around topics of significance in Southwest Central Indiana. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about work to date, next steps, and opportunities for engagement. Time will be provided for input and engagement. Lunch provided. If interested in attending, please register for only one of the work group sessions.
Working Group 1. SWCI Pathway Alignment: It’s More Than CTE

How should this region approach the development of pathways to align with the very distinct needs of regional employers? How might we scaffold and align educational experiences from elementary school through post-secondary education to better prepare students for education and career opportunities?
Working Group 2. Quality of Place in Southwest Central Indiana

How might ROI work with others across the region to address quality of place using grant making and convening strategies?
Working Group 3: SWCI Sector Strategies
Facilitators: Angel Reece and Laura Englander
What does sector data tell us about SWCI’s key sectors and the critical role they must play in supporting education and workforce initiatives in our region?
