This week, ROI celebrated the first cohort of the Indiana Uplands UpSkill Work & Learn program with a Signing Day!
This new program is providing multi-year opportunities for high school students and Indiana Uplands employers. Students gain exposure to career possibilities, paid employment, on-the-job and related classroom instruction, postsecondary dual credits, and industry-recognized certifications.
Participating schools include Edgewood HS, Owen Valley HS, Mitchell HS, Orleans HS, and North Lawrence Career Center. Confirmed employer partners include SAIC, Indiana Limestone Fabricators, Texacon & Bedford Limestone Supplies, FiveStar Technology, and Even Automation.
