ROI Educator Boot Camp Update: On Thursday, regional K-12 educators toured Singota Solutions in Bloomington, IN. Boot Camp participants “gowned up” with double layers of protection to be able to enter the sterile environment required for robotic vial filling equipment. Educators learned that attention to detail was very critical in the facility at all employment levels. They also learned that within the life sciences sector, careers are available from entry-level positions all the way through Ph.D. degreed positions.
Singota Solutions is a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) focused on helping clients in the pharmaceutical, animal health, and biotechnology industries move their products through the drug development pipeline. The 72,000-square foot facility has service lines include aseptic manufacturing, supply chain operations, drug formulation development, analytical methods development & testing activities, and labeling & kitting operations.
Participants in the ROI Educator Boot Camp will take what they learned at Singota Solutions back into the classroom to expose Southwest Central Indiana students to the life sciences jobs and careers available to them after they graduate.
