Cook Medical’s Vice President Ron Mobley gave a closing presentation on the company’s approach to diversity and inclusion. Cook Medical’s Diversity & Inclusion Mission:

Cook values diversity at all levels and strives for full participation from all our employees of every gender, gender identity, race, age, sexual orientation, pregnancy status, national origin, religious affiliation, veteran status, ability, or class. We believe that inclusion fosters creativity and innovation and empowers all our employees, thus making Cook a stronger organization. To this end, Cook promotes a corporate culture that maintains a balanced and diverse workforce.

Thank you to Ron for providing our educators with sunglasses and lens cleaners. The glasses serve as a metaphor for the lenses that people use to see the world and a reminder on how the teachers can educate their own students to promote and respect inclusion, diversity, and equality as they begin their careers.
