ROI and Radius Indiana are pleased to announce that the 11 counties of the Indiana Uplands will continue their shared commitment to economic and community prosperity through participation in READI.
ROI is conducting a crowd-sourced internet speed project. The goal of this project is to create an accurate region map of where internet service is available, where it is unavailable, and what broadband speed residents are currently receiving.
Representatives from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation will outline the READI program, highlight the state’s goals, and address specific questions.
Funds from the American Rescue Plan Act are heading towards local communities across the country. ARPA offers opportunities for community leaders to fund a variety of initiatives beneficial to the future of your citizens. Special thanks to Andrea Kern of the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs who joined us over Zoom on June 1 to help us understand the opportunity that ARPA offers to Indiana Uplands communities.
